Parent: My husband and I trust Ms. Shaheen 110%! She is hands down, the BEST thing that has happened to our daughters. We are full time educators in Montgomery County and needed someone that could teach and care for our girls the way we would. We found this love and care with Ms. Shaheen. She treats her students like they are her own children. She provides individualized instruction and tailors her teaching to what each child needs. We’ve seen our oldest daughter go from identifying letters to reading simple text and writing high frequency words! Our girls never want to leave when we go to pick them up. Their academic, social, and emotional needs are fostered in the environment created by Ms. Shaheen. We are so lucky to have her in all of our lives.

Our daughter has had 3 wonderful years with Ms. Shaheen. She is confident and ready for kindergarten, thanks to Ms. Shaheen.
She loves to go to preschool so much that she has turned down offers to sleep in late and almost always asks to stay and play when we arrive to pick her up.
She learned how to read while at preschool with Ms. Shaheen! She is already reading beyond the end of kindergarten benchmark through Ms. Shaheen’s patient teaching.
She can count up to 100 by 1’s, 5’s, 10’s and 25’s. She has a solid foundation in the concepts of addition and subtraction. She knows her shapes, colors, sight words and so much more.
She is proud of her work at school and is eager to share her learning each day. When we asked her what she had learned at preschool, this is her long list:
