Parent:  Both of my children have attended Park Ridge Daycare from its conception. It was evident from our first meeting that Ms. Shaheen had a true commitment to working with children. Her teaching experience sealed the deal for me. As an Principal of a county school, I am amazed with the prerequisite skills my four year old has obtained through Ms. Shaheen's instructional practices. My daughter has developed a passion for learning inspired by their daily circle time. In addition to the academic learning, my children are also being taught appropriate social skills. A true testament of their happiness is demonstrated when my youngest cries if she forgets to give Ms. Shaheen a hug good bye! I couldn't be more thrilled with the comprehensive program Ms. Shaheen offers. It doesn't get any better!

Parent:  Park Ridge Daycare/Preschool has been one of the best things to happen to our family.  As Special Ed teacher in a local elementary school we were in search of a loving home-based environment with an emphasis on education.  Although my daughter attended for only one year, she was completely prepared for a rigorous full-day kindergarten program.  She is now reading fluently and has developed a love for math, and we attribute this to the efforts of Ms. Shaheen.  The preschool component of her daycare differentiates based on skill level, ability and interest.  It is a stress-free learning environment where children also discover the importance of sharing, friendship, turn-taking and following directions.  
Our son is in his second year and has a late birthday…we are thrilled he will be at Park Ridge for another two years!  He adores Ms. Shaheen and loves to attend!  He has since developed an interest in nature, puzzles and arts and crafts.  He looks forward to circle time and sharing the songs he has learned.  Park Ridge has exceeded our extremely high expectations.  It is the third daycare we have been a part of – We only wish we had discovered it sooner!

Parent:  My son loves his school, friends and teacher since he started pre-school at the ParkRidge daycare. He wakes up every morning asking to go see his teacher and frends from his school. He's been to 3 different schools before he started at Parkridge Daycare. My son is now a much happier boy and learing a lot because he is in good hands now at Parkridge Daycare.
My son gets full attention and all the learning that he needs from this pre-school. I don't have to worry about him all day because he is well taken care of at school by his teacher.

Having been a former elementary school teacher, my criteria as a parent and educator were very high. The teacher has met and exceeded all of our needs.
