Parent:  My daughter has been going to Park Ridge Daycare since its opening.  I could not be happier with the level of care Park Ridge provides.  Every day my daughter learns something new and exciting to prepare her for school, and I am confident that when she begins kindergarten in the fall she will be more than prepared.  Not only are the children learning important lessons, but they are cared for in a warm and loving environment.  Plus they really seem to have so much fun every day.  I would recommend Park Ridge Daycare to anyone.  It was definitely a great choice for my family!

Parent:  Park Ridge Daycare is so much more than a daycare atmosphere. My daughter has been attending the preschool program now for 2 years. My husband and I are so impressed with Ms. Shaheen for many reasons, she's very kind and patient, she's a wonderful teacher. She manages to introduce new and exciting learning experiences while maintaining a structured environment.  Shaheen runs a very safe, secure and clean center. We feel very fortunate to have Shaheen in our daughters life. We know that our daughter will be well prepared for kindergarten.

Parent:  Wow! I really cannot say enough great things about Ms. Shaheen and Park Ridge Preschool. Ms. Shaheen is amazing! My daughter started there when she was three years old and will be graduating this summer. While she was there, I always knew she was in excellent hands. I never worried. Ms. Shaheen was always so caring and professional and very attuned to each child's individual needs and habits. The things my five-year-old can do right now, I don’t think, as a teacher, I was teaching my students until first grade. These skills include: Writing her first, middle, and last name, reading sight words, reciting the days of the week, months of the year, counting to 100, telling time to the hour, and reading several books that they have made and practiced! It’s just amazing. I am confident that my daughter will be more than ready to transition to Kindergarten in September. Park Ridge Home Daycare and Preschool is superb!
Ms. Shaheen is in tune with every child's learning styles and temperaments. Kids are always engaged, learning and having fun in a loving environment. There are always fun and supervised learning activities to do. Some of these excellent activities include: coloring, making books, reading, singing, counting, dress up, you name it; a perfect blend of home and preschool. My daughter has nothing but wonderful things to say about her time at Park Ridge with Ms. Shaheen. This environment is an absolute must if you're looking for a safe, clean, loving, learning environment/home for your little one to learn and grow in. There is no doubt that Ms. Shaheen is committed to teaching academics, but what I love is that there is a healthy balance of play and exploration as well. The children are encouraged to use their imagination, play make-believe, and help make their own decisions to become great problem solvers.
 I would highly recommend Park Ridge and Ms. Shaheen to any parent looking for an excellent preschool in a home environment.

Parent:  Our daughter started going to Mrs. Shaheen's Park Ridge Daycare a year ago.  In a year's time she has learned to; spell and write her name, nearly mastered the alphabet, count to thirty, interact well with other children and the list goes on.  My wife and I are often told how articulate and intelligent our daughter is and she just turned three.  I was trying to think of a way that I could truly compliment Mrs. Shaheen and the way she manages Park Ridge Daycare.  That's when I thought about my first grade teacher Mrs. Dixon.  She made learning fun by relating the curriculum to the likes and interest of the children.  Mrs. Dixon is the only teacher that I truly remember from my elementary school years, and I know that Sierra will always remember Mrs. Shaheen and her time at Park Ridge Daycare.  In these times there are less and less people we can trust.  When we leave our daughter with Mrs. Shaheen we feel like we are leaving her with a close family member.  That sense of security is hard to come by in regards to our most precious gift in life; our daughter.
